Traditional fruit salad

Hungry make your self a healthy traditional fruit salad, its easy and makes very little mess. When my partner Mia and I made it we found it quite easy to make but do be carefull when handling the knife! All the ingrediants are good for you and provide you the natural sugar which is needed in your daily life. As well as many of the fruits contain vitiamins c and can boost your immune system.




Ingredients (serves 2)

       1/4 pineapple, peeled, chopped
       1/4 rockmelon, chopped
       6 strawberries
       Small bunch seedless red grapes
       2 passionfruit, halved
       1 orange
       1 apple
       1 kiwi fruit
       1 tablespoon lemon juice
       1 banana (if available)

Method

1.     Toss apple and banana in lemon juice to prevent browning.
2.     Chop all other fruits and mix together and place in a bowl. Serve.

Notes & tips

       Tip: You could use other fruits in season such as mango, papaya and blueberries.
Fruit salad is best eaten the day it's made otherwise it will become soggy and the fruit will lose its sweetness
